Radon Control Services was founded in 2007, it was recently purchased by Sam Goode of Lafayette Crawlspace Remediation in 2022.
Radon Control Services has been making sick homes healthy for 15 years. We offer radon testing and mitigation services to Lafayette, IN and surrounding counties. Now partnered with Crawlspace Remediation, we are better prepared to serve the community than ever before!
Our Owner: Sam Goode
Born and raised in Lafayette, Sam did not always hold an interest in crawlspace repair and radon mitigation. Sam was originally a music theater major who attended Vincennes University. He transferred to Purdue where he received his degree in Business Management in 2008.
In 2009, Sam began work with a crawlspace company. He worked with this company for about one year before branching out and starting his own crawlspace business. Crawlspace Remediation was founded in 2011, and business has boomed ever since!
Manager: Meriann Thompson
Meriann started working with Crawlspace Remediation in 2018. She describes her move to Radon as “the next step in the right direction in helping make homes healthy.” She manages daily operations and staff, makes strategy goals for the team, and sets operational policies.
Meriann attended St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. She is married to Jeff and is a mother to two beautiful girls, Willow and Layla. They have a dog named Posey and a cat named Thor.
